Reasons for Introduction

Obsolete Reasons for Introduction

This unit is intended to draw together several of the threads that students have studied throughout their degree and assist in the synthesis of a higher level approach to application development in digital filmmaking. In addition, this unit, which is an extension of the basic filmmaking concepts from VCM2101 and MMS2410, will firstly provide a theoretical extension to existing practical skills by exploring the distinction between "high-concept" and "low-budget" modes of filmmaking, and secondly will allow students the opportunity to apply theoretical insights into their own production techniques. This unit is a second level elective unit.23/07/2003 - Elective available to Bachelor of Multimedia Systems as from 2004
