Reasons for Introduction

Obsolete Reasons for Introduction

Conventional and object oriented programming techniques are unsuitable for handling temporal multimedia data. Temporal characteristics of multimedia and hypermedia information require distinctly different programming techniques to produce and deliver efficient orchestrated and live multimedia presentations within required quality boundaries. It is necessary for students to learn and understand requirements and issues associated with the realisation of complex multimedia presentations in networked environments.
